Jackson-Chaplin article part of curriculum Fresno State University

Fresno State University in California, USA, has included my article ‘Tramping with Charlie: Michael Jackson’s Walk with Chaplin’ as part of the ‘Theatre Today’ course within the Theatre-Arts programme. The course offers perspectives on theatre, its origins, and contemporary forms. It further explores theatre as an artistic medium for enhancing our understanding of human experience.

Michael Jackson floreert niet alleen op iTunes maar ook in de wetenschap. Wat blijkt? In de afgelopen vijf jaar hebben academici zich qua studie massaal op het werk van de King of Pop gestort. Jackson blijkt een verbazingwekkend aantal wetenschappelijke onderwerpen te hebben beïnvloed. Maar ook vóór zijn overlijden was ‘Dr. J.’ geen onbekende in academia.

Moonwalk in academia (English)

Michael Jackson is not only flourishing on iTunes but also in science. In the past five years, academics have devoted themselves in large numbers to studying the works of the King of Pop. Apparently, Jackson has influenced an astonishing number of scientific topics. But even before his death ‘Dr. J.’ was no stranger to academia.
